Data Input and Collection Training for Villages around Magepanda Watershed, Maumere, East Nusa Tenggara

Dagesime Magepanda watershed passes across many areas in East Nusa Tenggara. This watershed became important because its main function to support people who live around the river. Due of its importance, there should be some regulations to maintain and manage the existence of this watershed from the upstream down. The Caritas Diocese of Maumere (CKM) as a humanitarian organization is working on the documentation of watershed management plans. CKM aims to collect field data that can be used to support the making of the watershed management plan document. Ambon Mapathon Mapping Competition Announcement

  In 5-7 April 2016 we held mapping competition for Ambon Mapathon Event. This competition attended by 21 participant from various division in BNPB. We find the winner for this competition based on how many buildings and roads mapped by each participants. Here are the winners for Ambon Mappathon Mapping Competition: Meysita Noormasari with OSM username meysita who mapped 10.095 buildings and 85 roads. Andika K. F with OSM username Andika Kurnia who mapped 8.827 buildings and 4 roads. Mochamad Anwar with OSM username Anwar18 who mapped 8.227 buildings and 5 roads. Risk Assessment Workshop in TTU, East Nusa Tenggara

On May 11th-15th 2015, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap, RNV and CDSP held disaster risk assessment workshop and training in Kefamenanu, TTU (Timur Tengah Utara), East Nusa Tenggara. This workshop and training divided by 2 part, first part is workshop and training for disaster risk assessment and the second part is about using QGIS for disaster risk assessment.
