OpenStreetMap Training in Samarinda, East Kalimantan

After  doing socialization in February 26 and February 27 2015 at STMIK SPB Airlangga, The First OpenStreetMap (OSM) Training in Borneo Island finally held. Taking place at  Amaris Hotel, Samarinda , this training involves 3 colleges/universities in Samarinda. They are Mulawarman University, State Polytechnic of Samarinda and STMIK SPB Airlangga. OSM Training Results in Hasanuddin University

OpenStreetMap Training hosted in the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University was part of the University Roadshow programme in Indonesia. The final end of this training is to suggest the formation of OpenStreetMap communities in many districts in Indonesia, to train students in deepening their spike in using OpenStreetMap, QGIS, and InaSAFE, and to equip participants with skills necessary to become data collectors and data analysts that can later be used to work with Disaster Mitigation Agency in district level (BPBD).
